MONEY LAUNCH DOCS

How Money Launch works

Money Launch connects token creation, trading, creator rewards, and X identity in one Solana-native experience.

01 Overview

Money Launch is a Solana token launch and trading platform built around X identity. Creators choose the X account associated with creator rewards; traders discover markets through Money Launch.

The product direction connects onchain market activity with an X identity, with X Money as the intended payout experience.

02 How Money Launch Works

  1. Connect with X through Privy.
  2. Create a token with its image, details, and links.
  3. Select the X account intended to receive creator rewards.
  4. Launch on Solana when the production launch architecture is available.
  5. Market activity can generate creator earnings.
  6. Those earnings are designed to connect back to the selected X identity.
Implementation note

The final production launch transaction architecture is still being integrated.

03 X Identity

X is Money Launch's social identity layer. Privy handles X authentication and can provision a Privy-managed Solana wallet after sign-in.

X account→Privy→Solana wallet→Money Launch

An X account is an identity. A Solana wallet is an onchain account. They are related in Money Launch but are not the same thing.

04 Creating a Token

The current creation form collects a token image, name, symbol, description, website, X link, Telegram link, reward destination, and intended dev buy configuration.

Token image and metadata infrastructure is designed to use IPFS. The current form does not submit a production token launch transaction.

05 Reward Destination

During token creation, use Money sent to to search for and select an X account. This selected account is the intended creator reward destination.

The launcher and reward destination can differ. For example, @alice can launch a market whose creator rewards are associated with @bob. Selection does not imply endorsement by that account.

06 Token Markets

/explore presents token, symbol, market cap, volume, liquidity, and 24-hour activity. Token cards can also show the X identity associated with a creator reward destination.

The X Money badge identifies the configured destination; it does not prove a completed payout.

07 Buying & Selling

Money Launch is intended to let users buy and sell launched tokens from the market interface, with transactions settling through Solana market architecture.

Implementation note

The production trading and X Money settlement flow is being finalized. Documentation will be updated as those mechanisms become available.

08 Creator Rewards

Trading activity can generate creator earnings. Money Launch associates a token with its selected reward destination so those earnings can ultimately be connected to that X identity.

Current status

The final creator and protocol fee structure will be published before the production reward system is enabled.

09 X Money

Money Launch uses X identity today. X Money is the intended creator-reward and payment experience for the product.

Signing in with X, or selecting an X reward destination, does not itself send an X Money payment.

X Money integration

Final production payment integration depends on available X Money payment infrastructure and will be documented separately.

10 Solana & Wallets

Money Launch uses Solana, Privy, X authentication, and Privy embedded Solana wallets. Users do not need an external wallet merely to authenticate.

Current wallet controls include balance, deposit, send, and export. Export uses Privy's supported flow; Money Launch does not display or store private keys.

11 Token Metadata

Token metadata includes the image, name, symbol, description, and project links. Image and metadata storage is designed to use IPFS. Storage credentials remain server-side.

12 Transparency

Onchain actions should be independently inspectable through Solana. Product indexing, X profile metadata, interface metadata, and payment-provider state are offchain concerns.

Onchain: token and transactions→Offchain: X metadata and product indexing

13 Security

Privy handles embedded-wallet infrastructure. Sensitive server credentials, including X lookup and storage credentials, remain server-side. Blockchain actions that require authorization should require explicit user confirmation.

Security note

Money Launch does not need to display a private key during normal use.

14 Current Limitations

The final Solana launch mechanism, market execution, creator fee structure, reward settlement, X Money payment integration, and production indexing layer are being finalized.

These mechanisms are documented at a product level until their production implementations are available.
